The Vanguard VEO 3GO 235CP carbon fibre travel tripod is an ultra-compact and lightweight carbon fibre travel tripod with an Arca Swiss-compatible 2-way pan head, designed to take your telescope to distant locations or take photos and videos with your camera.

It is a compact and lightweight, 23mm, 5-piece travel tripod set with an Arca compatible compact 2-way pan head, designed to take your telescope to distant locations, or take photos and videos with your camera.

For maximum portability, this travel tripod folds down to just 33 cm and weighs only 1.1 kg. This makes it easy to pack for any trip, no matter where in the world you travel.

Don't let its size fool you, however. Despite this portability, this versatile travel tripod offers a versatile solution for any nature lover or photographer.

The Arca-compatible VEO PH-20 2-way pan head has a fixed pan handle, so you don't have to worry about losing it on the road or at home. However, when packed away, it can be folded between the legs of the tripod for easy storage.

If your spotting scope has an Arca-compatible base, it can be placed straight between the head's clamps for the most secure footing. If not, it can be attached to the long QS-71P quick-release plate with a non-slip grip that holds it securely.

If you also want to use a camera, we recommend a separate quick-release plate, such as the 4-way Arca-compatible QS-65 quick-release plate that allows you to turn the head into a 3-way pan head. Simply place the tripod head at a 90° angle (where the camera would point straight down) and then attach the camera in the portrait position (facing left or right).

In addition to traditional tripod shooting, this travel tripod allows you to shoot from a low angle or simple macro shots by either reversing the 2-piece column or removing the pan head and attaching the head to the supplied Low Angle Adapter (LAA). This capability is enhanced using the three easily adjustable leg angles (21°, 50° and 80°) that also allow you to set up a tripod for maximum stability on any terrain.

Where you don't need a tripod, a leg can be removed and attached to the central column in seconds to create a monopod, vlog stick or selfie stick.

Thanks to the quickly adjustable swivel locks, the tripod can be deployed within seconds, minimising the risk of missing a fleeting shot. Moreover, these leg locks are designed to be easy to disassemble, clean and reassemble, so you can set up the tripod on the beach or in dirty conditions with the confidence that you can easily clean them when you get home.

The tripod also comes with a choice of rubber or pointed feet, so you can choose the best setup for the conditions. Windy? No problem. Simply attach a camera bag or extra weight to the retractable hook at the bottom of the centre column.
