Via the 3"" fold-out LCD Touchscreen, you can not only view your images live, but also have the ability to shoot, film and even vlog from very low angles. The Multi Interface Shoe allows you to connect external flash, continuous lighting or microphones. Built-in WiFi and NFC support ensure you can also quickly pair the camera with a mobile device. The Sony FE 40mm F/2.5 G (SEL40F25G.SYX) is a prime lens for the Sony E-mount. The lens excels with its high image quality and beautiful bokeh in a lightweight and compact design. This makes it very suitable for taking it on the road.

Suitable for Sony full frame and APS-C cameras’s, the lens offers a compact solution for both still and video photographers. With its 40mm focal length, this prime lens delivers a very nice perspective for for photo and film shooting. The high image quality is achieved by an optical design with aspherical elements and ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements, eliminating colour fringing. The aspherical elements deliver corner to corner sharpness even at the largest aperture.

The FE 40mm F/2.5 G is part of a trio of G lenses, each with a different focal length. Besides a 40mm, the set also consists of a 50mm, very suitable for portraits and a 24mm, ideal for landscape photography. Besides high resolution and precise autofocus functions, the lenses have more in common: namely, all three are the same size, feature identical internal focus and the same intuïtive controls. The lenses feature a focus lock button, focus mode switch, aperture ring and aperture click switch for ideal operation. Because of these similarities, they complement each other nicely and lens interchangeability is easy.
