In terms of image quality and ergonomics, the Eizo EV2430-GY 24-inch monitor also meets all the requirements for a modern monitor workplace. Deflection and Auto-EcoView create a glare-free display.

The monitor delivers outstanding image quality based on three pillars: excellent resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, maximum contrast of 1000:1 and stable brightness with up to 300 cd/m². That means: you enjoy razor-sharp text contours, radiant illustrations and clear images. Thanks to the high-quality IPS panels with LED backlight, contrasts and colours remain stable from every viewing angle.

An image only becomes perfect when the colours are perfect. This is why EIZO monitors feature a Look-Up Table (LUT) of at least 10 bit, which allocates colour information significantly more precisely than with an 8-bit LUT. Fine colour shades ensure perfectly rendered transitions and also support the ability to fine-tune settings very precisely. The white point value, for example, can be set in increments of 500 from 4000 to 10 000 Kelvin - without losing detail.

The overdrive function speeds up the switching time so that grey tones change in just 14 ms on average. You can watch movies and quick image changes without annoying afterglow. When scrolling and positioning windows or images, the screen is readable in fractions of a second - faster than it can be perceived. Power consumption and energy efficiency are always on display.

Day, night, light, dark: No matter when and how you work, the Auto EcoView function constantly measures the change in ambient light and optimises the display with the ideal brightness values. Fully automatic with the help of a sensor. The benefits: Disturbing glare is reduced, your eyes don't get tired as quickly. A special two-point control continuously ensures the desired screen brightness by taking into account the brightest and darkest environments during the course of the day. Another plus: thanks to the automatic brightness adjustment, you save up to 50% power compared to a monitor permanently set to maximum brightness.

Of course, you can still set the monitor manually. Here, the EcoView index serves as a tool to see how environmentally friendly and economical your setting is.

To protect your eyes, EIZO developed a hybrid backlight control technology. This combines the advantages of conventional PWM (pulse width modulation) control and DC (direct current) control. PWM control uses much higher frequencies than standard PWM methods. The result: a flicker-free viewing experience while maintaining picture quality and colour stability. Moreover, compared to DC control, you can adjust the brightness to less than 1% of the maximum value in darkly lit rooms. The advantage: your screen remains free of flicker and glare even in these conditions.

The EV2430 has an optimally anti-reflective display surface. By minimising reflections by scattering reflected light, the EV2430 prevents eye strain. This counteracts eye fatigue and prevents forced postures in front of the monitor, which many people adopt to avoid glare effects.

Ergonomic and stable: the adjustable stand has ergonomics at its heart. You can rotate, swivel and tilt the monitor in the way that is most comfortable for your back, neck and sitting position. It can be infinitely adjusted in height and lowered almost to the desk or the base of the stand. This allows you to place the top row of images ergonomically below eye level.
