Bresser DST-0745 zoom optics for digital microscope and ultra-macro recordings
The Bresser DST-0745 zoom optics for digital microscope and ultra-macro recordings is a dedicated microscope that is operated with a C-mount camera (not included in delivery). Direct viewing on a screen is thus possible. Thanks to the vertically positioned optics, there is no shifting of the image when focusing. This is particularly advantageous for "focus stacking" shots.
The zoom is infinitely adjustable from 0.7x - 4.5x. Coarse and fine focusing facilitates focusing, especially at high magnifications.
The easy and user-friendly operation makes the digital microscope particularly suitable for daily use in the workshop. Measurements, quality control of surfaces or testing of parts and raw materials become easy with the workshop microscope. Insects, plants and rocks can also be impressively viewed.
The DST-0745 workshop microscope is not suitable for visual observation as it is only a zoom lens. It is used in combination with a MikroCam C-mount. It is designed for camera sensors of about 1/2". Smaller sensors can be used without problems. For larger sensors, there is shadowing, which diminishes slightly at higher magnifications.
Thanks to the two flexible incident light bulbs, the light can be optimally positioned. The beam helps in observing transparent objects. The brightness of both illuminations can be adjusted in five steps.
The magnification of a USB camera differs from the magnification of the lens. Therefore, a general magnification of the digital system cannot be given. It depends on the size of the sensor and the display on a monitor.
