Description
Nikkor AF-S 70-200mm F2.8E FL ED VR
One of the most popular FX-format telephoto zoom lenses is now even lighter, with a larger aperture and more manageable than ever before. The Nikkor AF-S 70-200mm F2.8E FL ED VR is essential for any photographer working with one of the (semi-) professional SLR cameras from Nikon. Whether you are a sports, action, news or reportage photographer, this version of the famous lens contains several improvements that make a big difference.
In combination with the VR SPORT mode the improved AF tracking and exposure control enable high-speed continuous shooting. Compared to its predecessor, the performance is improved up to the extreme corners of the image and vignetting is reduced. The closest focusing distance is only 1.1 m and the maximum reproduction ratio has increased from 0,11x to 0,21x.
Also, the lens cylinder is now equipped with programmable buttons. These were hitherto available only on super telephoto lenses and they offer extra convenience for the professional. In addition, the zoom and focus ring are changed to improve the balance. Thanks to the cylinder of a new magnesium alloy plus HRI and fluorite lens elements, this lens is lighter than ever, while the structure remains equally robust.
