The X2 Elite's further developed software offers a concise, simple user interface compared to its predecessor. This makes this calibrator ideal for users looking for quick and accurate colour calibration. In addition, the Spyder X2 Elite offers colour adjustment software with the ease we have come to expect from Datacolor.
To get started with the Spyder X2 Elite, thanks to simple presets, you don't need to be experienced with colour calibration. For the more experienced user, the X2 offers video & cinema targets ((Rec. 709, Rec. 2020) advanced Display Mapping & Analysis, unlimited calibration settings, Soft Proofing and 'Studio Match' for simultaneous calibration of multiple displays.
Advanced Display Mapping & Analysis gives you a better understanding of your monitors' colour, brightness, contrast, gamma, tone response and white point. In addition, you also easily check screen brightness, colour uniformity and screen colour accuracy.
The unlimited calibration settings start from industry-standard presets, but you can also customise all the settings yourself, such as fully customisable gamma curves and white point and brightness settings.
Soft Proofing allows you to display other displays and devices on your calibrated screen. For example, you can see how prints will look with specific printer models and certain ink and paper types.
The Studio Match offers simultaneous calibration of multiple displays, making it easy to tune multiple displays to exactly the same way. regardless of which monitors you use.
