Description
This hyper complete Cokin ND Filter Kit includes a whopping 6 filters, a filter holder AND a 62mm adapter ring – you are all set and ready to go! But, what does an ND filter do? "ND" stands for Neutral Density. ND filters give you more control over the lighting in your shot. You can use an ND filter for longer shutter speeds, larger apertures or to compensate for lighter areas in a landscape shot. This allows you to capture movements and other effects that the human eye can normally not see. For instance, add a misty effect or capture the movement of clouds
Cokin Full ND Filter Kit (H300-01)
The Cokin Full ND Filter Kit includes three high-quality grey filters, excellent for capturing landscapes and architecture.
Features of the Cokin Full ND Filter Kit
- 3 Full Neutral Density filters
- Filter dimensions: 84 x 84 mm
- Successor to the H270 filter kit
- Suitable for the Cokin P system
Cokin Gradual ND kit (H3HO-25)
The Cokin ND Gradual Grey Filter Kit allows you to balance the light intensity within one shot. This is convenient in situations where you have no control over the light, for instance outdoors where there are stark contrasts. When the sun is bright, usually the background fades and the foreground becomes too dark, resulting in loss of detail. These grey filters can balance the differences in light intensity.

Cokin filter systems
Cokin is a French manufacturer of optical filters for use in photography. The system consists of an individual holder which is screwed onto the lens, in which square or round filter can be placed.
Cokin is largely known for its Creative Filter System, which was marketed by photographer Jean Coquin in 1978. Whereas conventional filters are manufactured to a specific filter size, Cokin filters can be used on various filter sizes (and therefore various lenses) by exchanging a ring. This makes them cheaper in use. The holder can accommodate up to three separate filters, which gives the photographer creative freedom in the use of filters.
Cokin makes filters in three sizes: A (Amateur), with a width or diameter of 67 mm; P (Professional), 84 mm; X-Pro, 130mm; and Z-Pro.
